DAY 1: Arrive Los Cabos & Travel to Todos Santos

You will be met upon arrival to the Los Cabos Airport and transferred away from the crowds to the tranquil town of Todos Santos. Settle in to your casita at the lovely Los Colibris and enjoy a moment to take in the fantastic ocean views. Ahh! The refreshing sea breeze and expansive beach below melt the day’s traveling away.

We head into town (5 minute drive) for a welcome dinner at the famed Hotel California.

DAY 2: Surfing & Horseback Riding on the Beach

This morning we take to the water with surfing lessons to learn how to ride the waves at Los Colibris – one of the best breaks in Baja for beginner surfers. Mario, veteran surf instructor, guarantees that you’ll stand up and ride a wave – at least for a moment – before the end of your lesson! Lunch is at a local beach front restaurant with time to chill before taking to the beach again. This time on horseback! Todos Santos boasts of 70 miles of pristine beach front, perfect for a sunset ride before dinner. This evening local lawyer turned chef Iker Algorri teaches you Mexican survival cooking!

DAY 3: Hike to Triple Waterfall or Whale Watching

Today you choose!

Desert Triple Waterfall Hike: Hike through incredible desert canyon to the Triple Waterfall. The water here brings forth an array of plant and animal life. Your guide will explain how these plants and animals get by and even thrive in the Baja desert. This walk is mostly on flat trail. You do have the option to climb a ladder and scramble up the rock fields to get close to the falls.

Whale Watching: Humpbacks and grays visit this area at different times of the year. You will board a small panga a cruise the waters with the insight and knowledge of a local fishing captain.

This evening we enjoy a little stargazing with a local astronomer to learn about Aztec, Mayan and Greek mythologies. We end the day with dinner at Landis – great, homestyle Mexican food.

DAY 4: Los Islotes Snorkeling (sea lions!)

We start this morning with the solid one-hour drive to the Sea of Cortez town of La Paz. From here we head out by boat to view the sea lion colony of Los Islotes. You’ll know we’re getting close by the colony’s cacophony of barking. Here we don our fins and snorkels and have a quick do’s and dont’s chat to keep safe with these wild animals. Then jump into the underwater world of darting, playful sea lions! We enjoy lunch on board before returning to La Paz. Dinner at El Bismarkcito or Rancho Viejo – La Paz Institutions.

DAY 5: Sea Kayak Balandra Bay in the Sea of Cortez

After breakfast we take to the sea, kayaking secluded bays through mangrove swamps and passed other worldly rock formations. We’ll pass beautiful beaches a long the way and stop en route to rest our arms, enjoy a swim and take in the sunshine. Beach picnic. With happy, sun-kissed faces we return to Todos Santos (one-hour) and enjoy a relaxing evening pool-side with a take out pizza from town. Well deserved!

DAY 6: Cliff Walk and Beach Picnic

Today is a perfect blend of exploration and relaxation. Pack your beach bag and grab your sneakers! We hike a gorgeous cliff trail to a beautiful, palm-rimmed beach. A long the way you’ll see a wide variety of cacti, sea lions, birds and often whales off in the distance. We enjoy a picnic lunch at the beach and spend the rest of the afternoon swimming, reading and sun bathing.

This even we enjoy an absolutely delicious farewell dinner prepared by local artist, sculpture and chef, Michael Cope at Michael’s at the Gallery.

DAY 7: Depart Los Cabos

Today we transfer you to the Los Cabos airport in time for your international departure.

Getting To and From the Trip: 

This trip bases from Todos Santos. Most travelers fly in and out of Cabo San Lucas International Airport – where you will be met and transferred to Todos Santos. It is possible to arrive to Todos Santos on your own.

Trip Start: Trip starts with pick up at the Cabo Airport and transfers you to the town of Todos Santos where you will base for most of this adventure.

Trip End: Trip ends with drop off at the Cabo International Airport in time for your departure flight.

Complete Your Trip

This trip is sold as a complete package. It starts and ends with pick up and drop off at the Los Cabos International Airport, includes all necessary transportation, accommodation, meals and guides.

LOS COLIBRIS in Todos Santos

Each casa and casita has magnificent views of the Pacific ocean, a freshwater estuary and a palm grove oasis to the front, the Sierra de la Laguna mountains to the side and back. Los Colibris is located a mere ten minute walk from almost 70 miles of pristine, virtually empty beach and a short, 5-minute drive to the tastes and sounds of Todos Santos.

Casa Colibris has 2 beautifully decorated bedrooms, a large eat-in kitchen with all amenities, roof-top terrace, and a wide veranda. Each bedroom has its own private balcony or porch, full bathroom, beach towels, hairdryer, safe, ceiling fan, iPod player/charger, CD player and selection of CDs. Magnificent views of the ocean, lagoon and palm oasis from every room.

Casa Colina
Casa Colina features 2 beautiful, spacious bedrooms, each with a balcony or porch, ceiling fan, hair dryer, alarm clock, beach towels and full bath. There is a full kitchen with all amenities and dining tables and chairs for both inside and outside dining. There is an iPod player/charger, and a CD player with a good selection of CDs. Magnificent ocean and lagoon views from every room.

La Chucha Casita
La Chucha has a beautiful spacious bedroom with full bath, private roof-top terrace and veranda, ceiling fan, beach towels, hair dryer, iPod player/charger, CD player and selection of CDs. Dining areas ensuite, on front patio and on the roof-top terrace. Magnificent ocean, lagoon and palm oasis views from every point.

Mr. Bing´s Place
Mr. Bing´s is a charming, cozy casita that features a colorful bedroom with palapa roof, ceiling fan, iPod player/charger/alarm clock, hair dryer, beach towels, and a spacious dining/living area with kitchenette. It has a large patio with absolutely stunning views of ocean, lagoon and palm oasis.
