WHY THIS TRIP
The Seaman Journey is a 1st-class catamaran that began cruising the Galapagos Islands in December 2007. She is a luxurious first-class yacht offering superior comfort, size, style, and stability. The Galapagos Seaman Journey makes it possible to enjoy several cruises in the Galapagos with different itineraries that include amazing land tours on most of the Galapagos Islands.
During a Seaman Journey Galapagos Cruise, guests encounter many endemic species like Galapagos Giant tortoises, penguins, Land and Marine iguana’s, Frigate birds, Blue-Footed boobies, and much more!
TRIP DESCRIPTION
During one of the cruises each guest can enjoy the well-furnished areas offering comfort and privacy. The Seaman Journey has a maximum capacity of 16 passengers and has several lounging areas for those who are looking for a quiet place to relax during a Galapagos trip with family and friends in the lazy mid-afternoon sun, or likewise after a busy day of swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, or walking on one of the Galapagos Islands.
To check out the gorgeous ocean views with fellow shipmates, guests can spend some time on the liveaboards’ spacious sundecks. Whether you feel like getting a little sun on their vacation, or want the best place to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets over the Galapagos Islands, our sundecks are the best place to be.
For those with a thirst for knowledge, a look in the “book nook” (the onboard mini-library) is always available with a few books about Galapagos that complement what you have seen and experienced during the trip. For the adults who might want to relax and kick back, the cruise offers a great bar and lounge area where you are served by the bartender who will be happy to attend to all your needs and desires whilst you relax.
Like the other boats operated by Latin Trails, the Seaman Journey is dedicated to providing a comfortable, exciting, professional, and adventurous exploration of the magical Galapagos Islands.

We chartered the boat for 15 of us and it was perfect! Camilo was an outstanding guide! The entire crew did everything possible to make our trip memorable and comfortable. Food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. The adorable towel and napkin creations by Karen were loved by all! Of course, the scenery and wildlife were second to none!
MIGUEL –
The boat was comfortable with very good facilities, keep in mind this is NOT luxurious but for 3-4 days is very adequate, crew is attentive and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful time in the Galapagos and on board the Seaman II. This was a bucket list trip and it did not disappoint. I only wish I could have stayed longer. We did some land, and some days on the Seaman. I would recommend more days on the boat as opposed to land. No wasted time in transit, met wonderful travel companions, and the sea and wildlife are so beautiful. The crew was fantastic. I felt very privileged to have taken this trip.

We had a great time in the Galapagos. The tour guide was informative and the accommodations and crew were wonderful on The Seaman II. A terrific group of people joined us on the tour and played a large role in making it a great experience.

John and I had a marvelous time on the trip to Galapagos. We were full of praise for the crew and their care, and the physical facilities on the boat were excellent. Food was plentiful and delicious. My only complaint was the late arrival of the man from Latin Trails at the airport before our departure. We did arrive there very early, two hours before our departure time as instructed but he did not come until one hour later. Our hotel could have been informed that there was a change in time. However it is a minor complaint and it was an amazing experience visiting the Galapagos Islands.

The trip was absolutely wonderful. As Phil said the boat, crew, food and everything else was just fantastic including the company. A special mention for our amazing guide Enrique who was a mine of information, so well delivered, so enthusiastic and passionate about the Islands and all the inhabitants. We felt very lucky to have had him as our guide. A small suggestion to the boat to have prices for the alcohol and the wetsuits available and obvious, otherwise all was perfect.
